Our language arts and social studies classes use an integrated approach called LASS. With mixed-grade classrooms following a two-year curriculum cycle, students are consistently engaged with content at or above their grade level. Teachers expertly differentiate instruction, texts, and assignments to keep even the most advanced students challenged. Critical thinking, inquiry, and discussion are cornerstones of these classes. Students not only learn from teachers but explore how to communicate and collaborate with their peers.
A key advantage our school provides is smaller than average class sizes and a low student-teacher ratio.
